Highlights of the 2019 VW Beetle

Design

With its classic curvature and sporty rear spoiler, the 2019 Beetle can best be described as charming. This sort of quaintness is contrasted by the available 17” and 18” alloy wheels, which give the car a proud stance. Additionally, the longer hood and blunt rear bumper gives the car’s exterior a retro feel. The Beetle is available with Bi-Xenon Headlights, as well as LED tail lights, in order to help you make a statement.

With this being the last year the Beetle will be in production, Volkswagen is offering customers the ability to purchase special editions of the vehicle: the Final Edition SE, and the Final Edition SEL. Both models come available as coupes, or convertibles, and both come available with two exclusive colors: Aquarius Blue and Safari Uni.

Drivers will also be pleased with the amount of space and luxurious amenities found in the interior. A leather-wrapped, multi-function steering wheel comes standard, which allows drivers to maintain control of the road, music, and other key functions. In order to complete its homage to its storied design, the Beetle also comes available with retro-modern fuel gauges, as well as a Käferfach-heritage inspired glove compartment.

Performance

This bug might be little, but it still packs a powerful punch. Each 2019 Beetle is equipped with a 2.0L TSI Engine that’s capable of delivering up to 174 horsepower as well as 184 pound-feet of torque.

For those who find the standard 6-speed automatic transmission a little too tame for their liking, worry not — Tiptronic® lets you shift into manual mode, and you can get even more aggressive with Sport mode.
